Welcome friends of the Água Boa Amazon Lodge
This week we had a little rain each day, humid mornings that gradually turned into cloudy days. The river level rose a little, but nothing to worry about. In fact, the rain is good for navigation and helps to lower the water temperature. Happy fish!
Yes, it was a rainy week, making it feel like the rainy season was visiting us earlier.
The fishing started off slow, but gradually improved and ended up with good quality catches.
A reasonable number of fish were caught and returned, with the biggest catch of the week weighing in at 18.5 lbs.
Congratulations to Bill Warfield for catching a beautiful Arapaima that put up a great fight and posed for a memorable photo.
A memory for life!
In addition to Arapaima, other species like Aruanã, piranhas, Arari, Traíra, and more helped diversify the fishing experience.
This week, we had two very important visitors at Água Boa Amazon Lodge – Chris Nishan and Tom Dempsey.
These two have been coming to visit us for as long as I can remember, and they are like family to us.
Thanks to David, Stuart, Bill, John, Frank, Ben A, Ross, Lee, Ben W, Robert, Mark, and Bill W for joining us this week and showing your support.
We hope we met all your expectations!
As our season slowly comes to an end, we are still dedicated to serving each group that comes our way.
We are committed to giving our best, because that is how Água Boa Amazon Lodge is known and remembered.
See you next week
