Welcome friends of the Água Boa Amazon Lodge
Hey everyone! We had such a blast this week with all the awesome people who came to visit us at the lodge.
They were so much fun to hang out with, always cracking jokes and having a good time.
And guess what? The sun finally came out after all those rainy days! The water level went down, and all the animals and fish were buzzing with energy.
The Tucunarés were on fire this week, putting up a real fight for our fishing buddies.
It was a great week in terms of the number and size of fish caught.
Everyone was catching and releasing some big ones, over 10 lbs each.
Wow, over 80 different Tucunaré fish weighing between 10 and 15 lbs were caught! Some were even bigger than that.
Jacob caught an incredible Pirarucu fish that weighed over 70 lbs.
Visitors also caught Aruanã, Piranhas, Oscar, Arari, Armored catfish, Payara, and more!
A big thank you to John Herzer for bringing a great group of fly fishing enthusiasts to the lodge.Bill, Ron, Jack, Brad, John, Harry, Wayne, David, Jacob, Adam, Mark, Tony, and Chris Reno, it was awesome to spend time with you all!
John Herzer is an amazing host and a really cool guy.
It was so much fun to hang out with him.
