Welcome, friends of Água Boa.

The cycle repeats itself; the weeks quickly turn over.
Another group of fishermen has successfully completed their mission and returned with huge smiles on their faces.

In the farewell handshake, the great moments of the past week were reflected in the sparkle of their eyes, alongside the nostalgic expression of something precious being left behind.
That is the rhythm of our Saturdays at Água Boa Amazon Lodge.

We extend our sincere thanks to Adrienne, Joan, Ray, Kristin, Neil, David, Stas, young Stas, Keith, Jim, Saul, Robert, Jim Gray, Scott Hamilton, and Guy Schoenborn.
It was a pleasure enjoying the week with all of you.

Once again, we turn to the topic of fishing productivity this week, and happily, there is little new to report.
Significant quantities of fish were caught and promptly returned to their natural habitat.

The size did not disappoint, with generous numbers of peacock bass between 10 and 15 lbs. and some excellent specimens above 15 lbs.
The largest recorded peacock bass specimen of the week was a hefty 18 lbs.

We adhere strictly to reporting the actual weight of the fish using a reliable Boga Grip.
We do not measure length or estimate weight; “Honesty is our motto.”

The variety of species that sought the fly was truly impressive, including Arapaima, Piranha, Payara, Wolf fish, Jacundá, lots of Oscars, Bicuda, Dogfish, and others.

There were many, many smiles on the faces of those who visited us, alongside some moments of disappointment.
The fish, in fact, often wins the battle.
But it is precisely those moments when the fish prevails that renew the will and dedication of our guests.
This is the true nature of the fly fisherman:
“Never give up and always enjoy the moment.”

The water level continues its slow descent, and animal life is beginning to populate the white sand beaches.
Many birds and capybaras have been photographed, as well as other members of the rich fauna that inhabit this region.

We emphasize once again the importance of reading the literature provided by your agents, which is available online.
Bringing the appropriate equipment and necessary personal items is essential to ensure your week runs as smoothly as possible.
If you have any questions, please contact your agent.

Words are limited to describe the images that float in the brain, just as this text is insufficient to faithfully describe what happens during the week.
Words always fall short of the powerful image the mind creates and wants to transmit.
But each person who visits us takes that image deep within themselves, an image that endures and one that inspires our friends to return to Água Boa regularly.

That is our magic…

See you next week
