Friends of the Água Boa Amazon Lodge
The fly starts its dance and gently dives into the water, then its movement begins.
The fierce peacock bass shoots in pursuit; the two cross paths, and again it happens…
It was a very good week.
All our fishing friends had their expectations met and, in some cases, exceeded.
The rain made itself present at times.
The fish felt the water temperature drop a little and moved more, providing fantastic moments for our visitors.

Yes, the water level rose a little, but a very welcome little.
As for numbers, nothing new.
They exceeded expectations… This is the Água Boa standard.
Many fish between 10 and 15 lbs posed for our friends photos during the week.
A good number of fish over 15 lbs lit up the faces of those who caught them and returned them to their habitat.
A little mention of the 5 Arapaimas that showed up for the fight this week, nothing huge, but a good 40 to 60 lbs.
Extraordinary…
Great fishing, great people, great place… Most weeks are like that at the Água Boa Amazon Lodge.
On a side note, insects have not been a problem this season, but we recommend that our visitors continue to bring insect repellent, as we are in the middle of the forest, and they can announce their presence at any time.
