Welcome, friends of Água Boa Amazon Lodge.
It was a week full of laughter, lively conversations, and above all, lots of fish.
With each new day, hopes were renewed, achievements materialized, and stories were told every night.

We hosted a very eclectic group who had a wonderful time and achieved the purpose that brought them here: excellent fishing.
Thank you to Dan, Butch, Tim, Mike, Matt, Teresa, Joe, Robin, Tom, Noemi, David, Catherine, Nick, and Caleb.
It was a special week that we were glad to share.

The river level remains stable, and sight-fishing is a constant, an experience much appreciated by those who visit us.
Walking on the white sands while your eyes follow the movements of the peacock bass is a wonderful feeling.

It was a week with a high number of fish caught and released; numerous “doubles” produced excellent photos.
An incredible number of fish between 8 and 14 lbs left our friends excited to share their stories.
Additionally, a good number of fish between 14 and 18 lbs provided excellent fights and moments of tension, resulting in a feeling of a job well done. Yes, it was an extraordinary week.

The diversity of species that pursued the fly, something only Água Boa offers, was excellent.
Just ask David and Catherine, who captured a photo of their four Arapaima.
And then there was the ferocious catch by Thomas: an Arapaima of over 120 lbs that crowned his week.

Arowanas were a constant presence; we lost count of how many performed their acrobatic jumps.
We also saw many other species, such as Piranha, Matrinchã, Wolf fish, Oscar, Payara ,etc.

Água Boa always surprises those who visit, even our regular customers.

Regarding fishing accessories, we want to remind you of the importance of having the right tippet; 40 lb and 50 lb test is recommended.
It is also very important to bring finger strips; vet tape covers this need very effectively.
In addition to the items mentioned in previous posts, more information is available online and through our agents.

Once again the curtain falls, ending another act here at Água Boa. It is like this every week—the story repeats itself, but always differently.
See you next week
Água Boa Team
