Friends of the Água Boa Amazon Lodge
Another awesome week has come to an end at Água Boa Amazon Lodge.
We want to give a big thanks to Montana Angler for bringing together such an amazing group of people.
A special thank you to Jimmy, Clark, Greg, Jeff, Michael, Ben, Steve, Patrick, Jason, Paul, Les, John, and a special mention to Matt and Brad West for keeping us entertained with their special and biting sense of humor during our group dinners.
This week was average when it comes to fishing.
All of our friends had some great catches, with none of them failing to reel in specimens over 10 lbs.
Some lucky ones even caught fish weighing up to 17 lbs!
Big congratulations to Jason for catching an excellent Arapaima specimen. Way to go!
So, this week we had some rain at Água Boa. But don’t worry, it’s actually good news for us! The rain made the grass green and cooled down the water a bit. And you know what that means?
The Peacock Bass are more active and happy, ready for the fly!
Even with the rain, the river level stayed the same.
The beaches are still popping out of the water, making it easier for us to spot the fish.
That means sight fishing.
We want all our visitors to have an amazing time at Água Boa.
So, make sure you pack your fishing gear and personal items properly.

Every Saturday, we have to bid farewell to our guests as they head back home. But don’t worry, because every Saturday we also get to greet a whole new group of visitors with open arms!
Just like the sun sets and rises every day, our guests come and go at Água Boa.
It’s all part of the natural cycle of life…
