Welcome, friends of Água Boa!

In the blink of an eye, the second week of our fishing season has concluded. We had the pleasure of hosting an incredible, international group brought to us by our South African partners at Mavungana.

It was a wonderful mix of languages—English, French, and Afrikaans—which led to great shared experiences and long, engaging conversations nightly as tired muscles recovered by the pool.A massive thank you to: Mike, David, Chris, Morgan, Christopher, Francis, Mike L, TJ, Trevor, and Pierre. We truly hope you enjoyed every moment of the unique experience that Água Boa offers.

The week proceeded smoothly, with some cloud cover and a little rain, but nothing that significantly altered the conditions.
Crucially, the river level is dropping consistently, and with every centimeter it falls, the peacock bass is proving to be more ferocious and challenging!

The action was great.
This was a good week for both overall numbers and species diversity.
We are thrilled to confirm that every one of our anglers managed to catch and release multiple trophy specimens over 10 lbs., and a significant number of catches surpassed the 15 lbs. mark!

Sunburned fingers and aching muscles are the physical results of a rewarding week on the water—trophies shown with well-deserved pride.

As always, few words are needed to truly describe the magic of Água Boa, but preparation is key to maximum enjoyment.
We want to remind all guests of the importance of bringing the appropriate gear and personal items:
We are in the rain forest, and a quality raincoat is vital, as showers can occur at any time.

Don’t forget your Buff, fishing gloves, and comfortable, quick-drying clothing.
If you have any questions, please consult the material available online or contact your agent directly. The colorful sunrise is always a powerful harbinger of a day filled with adventures and unique experiences in our beloved Água Boa Amazon Lodge.

See you next week!
