A Week of Lightness and Joy at Água Boa
It is truly gratifying to welcome old friends back year after year. It is both a pleasure and a privilege to listen to their stories and participate in such stimulating conversations;
That is exactly how we spent our days together this week.
A sincere thank you to Bill Douglas, Joseph, Gary, Ronald, Phill,Michael, and Mark. A special thank you also goes to Jeff Vermilion and his lovely daughter, Ella.
It was a week full of lightness and joy.
Joseph, thank you for the exquisite guitar concert—it was a highlight for us all. These are the “Água Boa moments,” the ones that truly linger in the memory.
The beaches become more extensive every day as the golden sands transform into a habitat for birds and caimans,a true showcase of wildlife here at Água Boa.
As the water level continues to slowly recede, the Tucunaré (Peacock Bass) cross between the sandbanks, their reflections shimmering in the transparent water.
Aquatic life is becoming more visible by the day.
The thrill of sight fishing continues to provide our visitors with unique and unforgettable moments.
The fishing was excellent this week, with good numbers and sizes that consistently meet Água Boa standards.
The variety of species never fails to disappoint.
Even for our veteran clients,some of whom have been fishing with us for over 10 years.
Spending just a few hours on the river resulted in excellent photos and lasting memories.
The Peacock Bass were particularly active this week, putting up great fights and providing world-class action.
All previous recommendations regarding equipment still apply. Please double-check your list of personal items, as well as your fishing gear and accessories. Remember, we are in the heart of the rainforest, and specialized items are not easily found here.
With each sunrise, Água Boa shines amidst the deep green of the forest and an intoxicating mix of colors in the sky… a perfect harbinger of a new day.
