The last sunset over the Água Boa River was witnessed by this group of fishing friends, who honored us with their presence during the week.
Yes, it is Friday evening, the end of another week, and a group of fishermen.
The Água Boa River rewarded all the effort and dedication of those who visited us.
Yes, although it is easy to catch “Tucunarés“, the quality of the fishing and the size of the trophies are directly related to the skills of the fisherman.
In short, it was a good week for everyone; the numbers were good and the size of the fish was not lacking.
But what amazes our fishing friends the most is the transparent water of the Água Boa River, which provides extraordinary moments of sight fishing.
This magical moment when the fisherman focuses on the fish and its movements, trying to anticipate and read the fish’s mind so that the fly is thrown in the right place, and then the dance begins…
Good photos were taken, excellent memories were created, and friendships were built or strengthened.
This is the magical world of fly-fishing and its characters.
The river dropped a bit this week, but for now it hasn’t affected the quality of the fishing.
We’ll see what nature brings us in the near future.

On a quick note, I want to remind you of the importance of bringing finger sleeves or some type of tape to protect your fingers. Vet tape is recommended.
